Solid and durable, yet versatile and modular: the Sun Ballast systems allow designers and installers to configure the PV system with great freedom, positioning the photovoltaic ballasts according to the specific needs and characteristics of the building.

The installation visible in the photo was carried out by our client Zelda Solar in Girona (Spain), fully exploiting the versatility of the structures: the ballasts used are from the 10° Sail system, which, thanks to its varying height, allow the rows of panels to be positioned consecutively, reducing the distances between the modules to zero and optimizing all the available roof space. This version of the Sail system allows for up to 3 consecutive rows (while the 5° version can accommodate up to 6), and in this 13 kW system, the rows were arranged with a double orientation.

This way, the advantages of the Sail system are combined with those of the East-West systems, optimizing both space management and system productivity. The dual exposure indeed allows for increased solar irradiation hours, distributing energy production throughout the day and ensuring a high level of productivity.
