Employed by thousands of designers and installers of photovoltaic systems on flat roofs, Sun Ballast mounting structures can be used on any flat surface, simplifying all installation phases.

The plant in the photo – a substantial 605 kW – was built on the large flat roof of an industrial building in Formello (Rome) by our client Ittin S.r.l. Thanks to the Single-Row 10° system, all installation operations were carried out with great ease. Sun Ballast’s photovoltaic ballasts do not require any holes – neither for fixing the structure nor for the panel – and rest on the roof, reducing both time and labor costs.

This system also allows the length and distance between panel rows to be adjusted according to needs, greatly simplifying the management of obstacles on the roof. The Single-Row system mounting structures are available in a wide range of inclinations (0°, 3°, 5°, 10°, 15°, 20°, and 30°) and are compatible with all Sun Ballast accessories, such as the 30 kg “U-Block” supplementary weights visible in this installation.
