Sun Ballast photovoltaic ballasts, trusted by thousands of solar PV system designers and installers, can be used on any type of flat surface, including gravel.

The system pictured was installed on the flat roof of a residential building in Rudiano (Brescia) by our client ALIA Srl. The photovoltaic panel structures were laid down quickly and easily: simply placing the ballasts on the membrane or concrete beneath the gravel layer, without the need for any anchor holes or complex components. The use of the Single-Row 10° system minimized installation times and labor costs while ensuring high resistance to all weather conditions.

The Single-Row system also allows for adjustment not only of the module row lengths but also of the spacing between them, making installation and design much simpler—even on irregular building perimeters. The photovoltaic panel structures of the Monofila system are available with inclinations from 0° to 30°, allowing panels to be fixed in both landscape and portrait orientations.
